Job description
This is a multifaceted role combining the responsibilities of a Chief Stewardess in yacht management, a Household Manager, and a Personal Assistant (M/F) to support the principal in both professional and personal capacities.
The ideal candidate (M/F) will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, leadership abilities, and the flexibility to manage a range of tasks seamlessly across these diverse areas.
The position requires the ability to coordinate yacht operations, oversee household staff, and assist in daily personal and professional activities.
Responsibilities
- Yacht Management (Chief Stewardess):
Oversee all interior operations onboard the 72 ft. yacht, ensuring a five-star level of service is always maintained.
Manage and train interior crew, ensuring they meet the high standards expected on the yacht.
Inventory management, including provisioning, stock control of supplies, and luxury goods.
Guest services, ensuring VIP guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Organize events and manage all onboard hospitality services, including meals, drinks, and special requests.
Coordinate with the captain, deck crew, and engineering team to ensure the smooth running of all operations.
Oversee safety and cleanliness of the yacht's interior.
- Household Management:
Manage household staff, including housekeepers, chefs, and any other domestic employees, ensuring smooth daily operations of the residence(s).
Oversee property maintenance, liaising with contractors, landscapers, and vendors as necessary.
Ensure household inventories are stocked, including groceries, cleaning supplies, and personal items for theprincipal and family.
Coordinate events, dinners, and other social functions within the home.
Oversee guest accommodations, ensuring comfort and hospitality standards are met.
- Personal Assistant:
Act as the primary point of contact for the principal's personal and professional life.
Coordinate and manage schedules, including meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and social engagements.
Organize and manage travel logistics, including private jets, yachts, and ground transportation, as well as accommodations.
Assist with personal shopping, gift purchasing, and other errands as needed.
Always maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Chief Stewardess or Household Manager/Personal Assistant in a similar luxury setting (yachts, estates, etc.).
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; able to handle a wide range of
- duties.
- High-level experience in luxury service standards, including VIP guest service, event planning, and fine dining.
- Ability to anticipate needs and adapt quickly to changes.
- Knowledge of yacht safety protocols and relevant maritime regulations.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and discretion in high-profile environments.
- English speaker; additional language skills a plus.
- A valid STCW certification for yacht operations (if applicable).
- A valid driver's license and US passport.
