Job description
The Owner of a new Sirena 64 yacht delivered in Turkey, is looking for a Yacht Captain 200 from April to August/September 2020.
The Yacht will be based in Gibraltar.
This is a temporary contract.
Responsibilities
- Taking the yacht in charge at the end of construction and to have an appropriate training for the yacht
- Yacht maintenance
- Mooring everyday at the marina according to the itinerary after each sea trips
- Engine Maintenance
- Safe navigation and operation of the yacht
- Put the instructions on board
- Ensure the safety rules and regulations on board
- Ensure that the weather is good before going out to the sea
- Bond with the captaincy
- Refueling Management
- Setting up budgets and budget management
- Report to the owner
Requirements
- 3 years of experience on yacht of similar size
- Captain 200 minimum
- Excellent knowledge ENG 1 and STCW 95
- Excellent Technical and mechanical knowledge
- Knowledge onboard technology (GPS)
- Speaks english
- Dynamic person, good relationship
- Commited and hardworking person
- Discretion
Work conditions
- Starting date : April 2020
- Working place : Gibraltar and other places as well
- Work contract : Temporary contract from April to August/September 2020
- Accommodation provided
- Trial period: 1 month
