Job description
The owner of a 26m catamaran, is looking for a captain from February 20th until July 2020. The boat will sail from the Caribbean sea to Tahiti, sailing through Panama Canal and Galapagos islands.
The position is to be filled ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Safe maintenance and operation of the catamaran
- Engine maintenance
- Managing the crew members
- Put the instructions on board
- Ensure the safety rules and regulations on board
- Keeping an up to date log
- Scheduling and rosters
- Managing the boat refits and survey
Requirements
- Excellent and proven knowledge of the catamaran and navigation skills
- Ability to give instructions in emergencies
- Organised and methodical
