Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Superyacht Captain to join our team in Miami, Florida, US. As a Superyacht Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of our vessel, as well as managing the crew and ensuring exceptional service for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the safe navigation of the vessel, including planning and executing routes, monitoring weather conditions, and maintaining up-to-date navigational charts and equipment.
- Manage and lead a team of crew members, including scheduling, training, and evaluating performance.
- Maintain the yacht in excellent condition, including overseeing regular maintenance and repairs.
- Provide exceptional service to guests, including planning and executing customized itineraries, arranging for activities and excursions, and ensuring all guest needs are met.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including safety standards and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- USCG Master 500 GT or higher license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superyacht Captain, with a proven track record of successful operations.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and crew members from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick and effective decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of local waters and regulations in Miami is highly preferred.
