Job description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purser to join our team on a luxury megayacht based in the Bahamas. As the Purser, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial, administrative, and guest service aspects of the yacht.
Responsibilities
- Manage all financial aspects of the yacht, including maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing budgets, and preparing financial reports for the owner and captain.
- Oversee administrative tasks, including managing crew schedules, maintaining crew personnel files, and coordinating with external vendors and suppliers.
- Provide exceptional service to guests, including arranging for special requests, managing onboard events, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Manage the onboard inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and managing crew provisions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Purser on a luxury megayacht.
- Strong financial management skills, including experience managing budgets, processing invoices, and preparing financial reports.
- Excellent administrative skills, including experience managing crew schedules and personnel files.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and crew members from diverse backgrounds.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of local waters and regulations in the Bahamas is highly preferred.
