Job description
We are currently seeking two skilled and motivated Deckhands to join a crew on board two luxury yachts, a 60-foot and a 75-foot, which are used for private and charter purposes. The boats are under the US flag and operate primarily between Florida and the Bahamas.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with all deck operations, including docking, anchoring, and navigation.
- Maintaining the exterior of the yacht, ensuring it is in impeccable condition.
- Handling lines and fenders during docking and undocking procedures.
- Assisting with water sports activities and tenders when needed.
- Performing routine maintenance and cleaning tasks on deck and equipment.
- Assisting with guest services and providing an outstanding experience for all passengers.
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Deckhand on yachts or vessels of similar size is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of deck operations, safety procedures, and equipment.
- A strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with crew members.
- Valid B1/B2 visa or ESTA authorization for travel to the United States.
Work conditions
- This is a permanent, all-year-round position with an immediate start.
- The schedule will include at least 1 day off every week to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
