Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Yacht Captain to lead a crew on board two luxury yachts, a 60-foot and a 75-foot, used for private and charter purposes. The boats are under the US flag and operate primarily between Florida and the Bahamas.

Responsibilities

Overall command and navigation of the yacht, ensuring the safety and well-being of all passengers and crew.
Planning and executing yacht operations, including charting routes, anchoring, and docking procedures.
Supervising and coordinating the work of the crew to ensure efficient and seamless operations on board.
Overseeing guest services and delivering a high level of hospitality during charter trips.
Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of the yacht to ensure it is in top condition.
Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.

Requirements

Valid USCG Captain's License for vessels of similar size (60 to 75 feet).
Previous experience as a Yacht Captain on similar-sized yachts or vessels is essential.
Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse crew and provide exceptional guest service.
Knowledge of navigation, maritime laws, and safety procedures.
Familiarity with Florida and the Bahamas as cruising grounds is advantageous.
Valid B1/B2 visa or ESTA authorization for travel to the United States.

Work conditions

This is a permanent, all-year-round position with an immediate start.
The schedule will include at least 1 day off every week to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
