Job description
We are seeking a Captain 500 for a permanent contract with one of our clients. This position is based in M'diq, a seaside resort in Morocco.
The boat provides day trips, offering a unique experience to travelers in a high-end environment.
The ideal candidate will be in charge of driving a 15 m RIVA and training a local captain on site.
The position includes accommodation, meals, and is a full-time contract.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe navigation of the yacht in compliance with maritime rules and local regulations.
- Ensure passenger safety by following safety protocols.
- Ensure the overall proper functioning of the boat.
- Manage ship maintenance and upkeep operations to guarantee their safety and proper functioning.
- Develop cruise itineraries considering weather conditions.
- Plan stopovers, on-board activities and excursions to provide a memorable experience for passengers.
- Provide excellent service to a high-end clientele.
Requirements
- M/F with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Captain.
- Captain 500 certificate required.
- Maritime safety training, including emergency management and evacuation procedures, is essential.
- Ability to manage a variety of tasks, including ship maintenance, logistics management, safety and customer service, is necessary.
- Dynamic, available, flexible and mobile.
- Expert in organization and planning.
- Fluent in French and English, Spanish is a plus.
