Job description
For one of our clients, we are looking for a Chief Steward(ess) to embark on a 50-metre motor yacht. Its home port is Port Canto, Cannes.
This yacht is used privately and for charter (2 months a year). She is registered under the Isle of Man flag.
The position is available immediately on a permanent offshore contract.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring top-of-the-range service and exceptional comfort for guests on board.
- Dressing and serving the table.
- Floral decoration.
- Coordination with the Chef.
- Managing the yacht's housekeeping and maintenance.
- Bedding, drapery, towels.
- Stock management and inventories.
- Responsible for 2 hostesses.
- Ensuring the safety of guests.
Requirements
- M/F.
- 3 years' experience in the same position in large units required.
- Good interpersonal skills with a strong team spirit.
- Strong sense of service.
- Availability and flexibility required.
- CFBS or Basic Safety (STCW 2010).
- Valid ENG1.
- Fluent in French AND English.
