Job description
For M/Y 39 m we are urgently seeking a skilled and experienced First Mate (M/F) to assist the Captain ensuring the whole smooth sailing.
The vessel is currently docked in Golf Juan (French Riviera).
Charter and private use.
Position to be filled asap (fixed contract until October - full time).
Responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for the safe operation onboard
- Able to support the Captain in every aspect of yacht management
- Able to replace the Captain if needed (navigation, stowage, management, maintenance…)
- Assist the Captain with administrative duties
- Provide aid in crisis situation (fires, medical emergencies..)
- Oversee decks operations and coordinate the activities of the onboard crew
- Manage crew members
- Provide exceptional service to passengers, demonstrating a high level of professionalism, respect, and hospitality
- Collaborate with the crew to create an enjoyable and comfortable experience for all onboard
Requirements
- Proven experience as a First Mate, preferably on vessels of a similar size.
- Captain 500
- Valid ENG 1
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong engineering knowledge
- Excellent on-board technologies knowledge
- Impeccable presentation and service-oriented attitude
- Trustworthy, reliable, and committed to ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all passengers.
- French & English spoken
- Driving licence required
