Job description
To complete the crew of a splendid 29 meters private sailing yacht located in Genoa (Italy), we are looking for a Steward/Cook to cook on board (crew and owner's family) and help with cabin maintenance.
Fixed-term contract from April to the end of October 2024
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of galley area
- Management and inventory of food stocks
- Preparation of crew meals (3 people)
- Preparation of meals for the owner and his family
- Table setting and service on request
- Suggest menus on request
- Cabin maintenance assisted by deckhand
- Interface with Captain
Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar position
- ENG1 up to date
- STCW95 (2010)
- Good culinary techniques
- Good knowledge of gluten-free, Italian and Mediterranean cuisine
- Organized, autonomous and dynamic
- Sense of service, mutual aid and discretion
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Fluent in French and/or Italian and/or English
- Driving license a plus
