Job description
The client is a private owner seeking a Captain to manage their yacht with discretion, efficiency, and warmth. The yacht will be used for personal leisure, offering an exciting, dynamic onboard environment.
Responsibilities

Overall management of the yacht and crew.

Navigation, passage planning, and bridge watchkeeping.

Maintenance oversight and PMS management.

Safety compliance, including flag, ISM, and SMS regulations.

Coordination with shipyards, contractors, and vendors.

Maintaining a professional, discreet environment for the owner.
Requirements
-
MCA / RYA or equivalent certificate, ENG1.
-
Minimum 5–10 years experience on motor yachts 60–80 ft (or larger) - non negotiable.

Proven leadership and organisational skills.

Solid bridge experience, including navigation and maneuvering.

Strong interpersonal skills for working with a steward / ess partner.
Work conditions
-
Location: Mediterranean (Antibes) / European waters.
- Vessel: 68 ft motor yacht, French-flagged (RIF license).

Contract Type: Full-time, seasonal, with possibilities to become permanent for the right fit.

This is a live-out position; candidates must have their own accommodation.

Salary
