Full-time temporary Yacht Chef job offer in Istanbul, Turkey
Job description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled, professional, and experienced Chef for a temporary position to work on our client's yacht in Turkey during the summer months.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Mediterranean cuisine and be able to prepare a wide variety of dishes, including hot and cold appetizers, soups, main dishes, and desserts. As this role involves cooking for an Emirati family, all meals must adhere to halal dietary guidelines.
Responsibilities

Prepare and cook daily meals for 8 guests and 8 crew members with a focus on Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine.

Ensure all food prepared adheres to halal dietary guidelines.

Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment at all times.

Plan and create diverse menus for the guests, ensuring variety, freshness, and flavor.

Coordinate meal times and kitchen schedules according to the family’s preferences.

Serve food in an aesthetically pleasing manner.

Provide a one-week trial period in Dubai for the family to assess cooking skills and food quality.
Requirements

Proven experience as a chef, with a focus on Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine. Yacht experience is a must.

Ability to prepare a wide variety of dishes (appetizers, soups, main dishes, desserts).

Strong understanding of halal dietary requirements and cooking practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of organization.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and respond to client preferences.

Willingness to undergo a trial period in Dubai for one week to demonstrate cooking skills and quality.

References and experience letters from previous employers are highly desirable.
Work conditions

The contract will run for a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 4 months (June / July / August / September 2025).

All travel arrangements (visa, ticket, accommodation) will be provided

The trial period will be paid at a rate of AED 300 per day.
