Job description
A newly built 24m motor yacht is seeking an experienced Italian-speaking female Chef to join the vessel, currently operating between Italy and Malta.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic yacht with a busy charter program across the Mediterranean.
The yacht offers a refined yet relaxed onboard atmosphere, with a small and professional crew of three, fostering a close-knit and collaborative environment.
The Chef will be responsible for the full management of the galley, delivering high-quality cuisine for both the owner and charter guests.
The owner joins occasionally as a guest, and while the level of service is high, the atmosphere onboard remains warm and informal.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in yachting or high-end private households, with a particular strength in Mediterranean and Italian cuisine. Flexibility, creativity, and consistency are key, as well as the ability to adapt to guest preferences in a fast-paced charter environment.
Responsibilities
- Full management of the galley and provisioning.
- Preparation of high-quality meals for owner and guests.
- Creation of varied, seasonal menus with a Mediterranean focus.
- Management of stock, orders, and suppliers.
- Maintaining impeccable hygiene and organisation standards.
- Adapting to dietary requirements and guest preferences.
Requirements
- Experienced Yacht Chef or Private Chef.
- Italian speaker (essential).
- Strong knowledge of Mediterranean and Italian cuisine.
- Organised, autonomous, and adaptable.
- Positive, discreet, and team-oriented.
- Comfortable in a small crew environment.
