Job description
We are seeking an experienced, professional and highly discreet Nanny to join a UHNW family onboard a luxury private yacht for a 4–6-week live-in contract, commencing mid-May.
Position Overview
- Sole/shared care of two young children (ages 1 and 4).
- Live-in role within a fully staffed, high-functioning yacht environment.
- Approximately 13-hour days, depending on the family’s schedule and itinerary.
- Working closely with parents and crew to ensure a seamless onboard experience.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional, attentive and nurturing childcare always
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Maintain consistent routines, including naps, meals and bedtime.
- Support early years development through play and structured learning.
- Always ensure children’s safety, particularly in a water-based environment.
- Pack/unpack children’s belongings and manage their day-to-day needs.
- Light child-related housekeeping (organisation of toys, clothing, etc.).
Requirements
Extensive experience caring for children of similar ages within private households, ideally with UHNW families
- Previous yacht experience highly desirable.
- A calm, mature and highly professional approach.
- Native-level English speaker with excellent communication skills.
- Confident swimmer and comfortable working in a water-based environment.
- Energetic, proactive and highly organised.
- Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic schedule and changing itinerary.
- Professional, discreet and able to integrate seamlessly within a high-performing crew.
- Able to balance high-energy engagement with appropriate rest periods when children are sleeping.
Work conditions
- All travel, accommodation and meals provided on board.
- Shared cabin provided.

Salary
From £1,200–£1,500 per week, dependent on experience
