Private Yacht Chef with Michelin experience in Turkey
Job description
An esteemed Emirati family is looking for an exceptional Private Yacht Chef with Michelin-star experience to join them for the summer season in Turkey.
The selected candidate should be flexible to work at times in Dubai, at their summer house in Austria, with the maximum duration of work being on their yacht, HAWA, in Turkey.
The ideal candidate will specialize in Mediterranean cuisine, with a strong emphasis on Turkish and Arabic flavors, which will be a significant advantage.
The chef will be preparing meals for 8 family members and 8 crew members.
Responsibilities

Curate and prepare gourmet meals tailored to the family’s tastes.

Focus on Mediterranean cuisine, with expertise in Turkish and Arabic dishes being a plus.

Ensure all food prepared adheres to halal dietary guidelines.

Source premium, fresh ingredients from various locations.

Maintain an immaculate galley, adhering to top hygiene and safety standards.

Adapt to the family's preferences and dietary requirements with flexibility.

Collaborate with the yacht crew to ensure seamless service.
Requirements
- Michelin-star restaurant experience or equivalent in high-end private dining.
- Expertise in Mediterranean cuisine, with a preference for Turkish and Arabic flavors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure luxury environment.
- Previous experience on yachts or private estates is highly desirable.
- Applicants should provide a list of menus they can prepare, including hot and cold appetizers, fish dishes, meat dishes, chicken dishes, pasta, salads, and desserts, with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine.
- Valid STCW and ENG1 certifications.
- References and experience letters from previous employers are highly desirable.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Shortlisting & Trial:
- Shortlisted candidates must be available to travel to Dubai within the next few weeks for a trial period lasting a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 1 week.
- Flights and expenses will be covered.
Work conditions
- The contract will run for a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 4 months (June / July / August / September 2025).
- All travel arrangements (visa, ticket, accommodation) will be provided.
- Paid trial period.
- Salary: Up to €12,000 depending on experience.
