Job description
An experienced Captain is sought for a private 30 mt charter yacht based in Dubai, on a permanent, year-round basis.
This is a stable, full-time engagement with an established owner, ideal for a professional seeking continuity rather than seasonal work.
Yacht: Private charter motor yacht - 30 mt, flag to be confirmed
Operation: Charter
Cruising area: Dubai and surrounding waters
Responsibilities
- Overall command, safety and navigation of the vessel
- Planning and executing charter itineraries to the highest standard
- Managing and leading the crew, setting the tone for service and professionalism
- Ensuring full compliance with maritime regulations, flag state and port requirements
- Overseeing maintenance, budgets, provisioning and vessel administration
- Liaising directly and discreetly with the owner, guests and management
Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Competency appropriate to the vessel, plus STCW and a current ENG1 or equivalent medical
- Proven experience in command, ideally with charter and Middle East experience
- Strong leadership, calm under pressure and excellent guest-facing manner
- Highly discreet, well-presented and detail-oriented
- Eligible for deployment under DMW (Philippine Department of Migrant Workers) requirements via a licensed manning agency; all related processing costs covered by the employer - if applicable
