A Bosun on a yacht takes care of maintenance and repair of exterior surfaces. He/she should have strong ethical principles, positive attitude and strong leadership qualities.
A Bosun should have an extensive experience in water sports and car driving. The position of a bosun usually requires two or three years of experience as a deckhand and a relevant permit/licence.
