Yacht Project Manager is responsible for supervision of construction of a luxury yacht or organisation of its redesign/reequipment. He/she determines the project plan, the budget, the planning, participates in negotiations with construction companies and advises the customer on the options.
It is a position that requires managerial, communication skills and specific knowledge of the yachting industry.
A good understanding of marine industry standards and engineering systems is required. Candidates should have significant experience in yachts.
The Yacht Project Manager works in collaboration with the owner to ensure compliance with his/her vision of the project, budget and delivery time.
