On a yacht the Butler is the main person whom guests contact. He/she has a major responsibility for the stay aboard the yacht.
He / she should be able to meet the expectations of guests. He should have a general knowledge of drinks, wine and activities to be carried out near the anchorage of the yacht.
The Butler must orchestrate the work to provide an efficient and quality service. He / she may be asked to manage the service team (steward/ess) and to be in contact with other crew members on the yacht.
An ideal candidate for this position should have extensive experience in a similar position and be able to offer a formal, 5-star service. An STW95 license is required for this position.
